Anomaa Rajakruna has travelled extensively in Sri Lanka researching and documenting the lives of community groups, particularly the lives of women and children in these communities. She uses poetry, photography and documentary film for expression and has documented extensively on people living in displacement in Sri Lanka.
She has several solo and group photography exhibitions to her credit and won few awards for her photography and documentary film work nationally and internationally. She holds a MA from University of Kelaniya Sri Lanka and works as a visiting lecturer at several institutions. She is also the Films curator for Cinnamon Colomboscope 2017.
