Abdul Halik Azeez is a street and documentary photographer. He has previously worked as a journalist, economist and development sector consultant. He currently does research on racism and new media and is a Master’s student at the University of Granada, studying English Literature and Linguistics. Halik is known for his Instagram account (@colombedouin) and his work has been exhibited at the Saskia Fernando Gallery, Colombo. Recent group exhibits include: ‘Young Subcontinent’ at the Serendipity Arts Festival, Goa; ‘The Place in the End’ at The Art Foundation, Athens and ‘Return: in Search of Stillness’ at Edinburgh Festival Fringe.
